The 375 WSM history is similar to 458 WSM. A short action that can do the same things as standard action 375s. Where we put a substantial footprint is the same previous principal but in shorter barrels.
We test in 24" barrels only to show the legit numbers of how everyone else tests. The results we display are usually shorter barrels because we don't need it. Any ammo you see from normal manufacturers is typically tested with a 24" barrel. Typically meaning 99% of the time unless listed. We clarify everything because so many people are concerned with velocity loss. Rightfully so.
Our first 375 WSM was an 18" Remington 700 Bolt Action. Videos will be on our channel soon. We wanted it to be an ultimate guide gun, brush gun, back up gun for those who didn't want to carry a 458 WSM. With the great history of 375 H&H and with the abundance of them out there, how could we sway that crowd to us?
Making an 18" 375 WSM do exactly what the 375 H&H does is the answer. Some will say the 375 Ruger beats the 375 H&H and that is true. What was our answer to that? We come within 2% or closer to the same ballistics the Ruger does. All in a smaller action, o and in AR platform. Wait, and we do it in a lever gun. How about them apples... Aside from being 15-30 FPS slower than the Ruger, we do far more with a 375 Magnum than anything else out there.
The last great achievement, 400gr(soon to be bigger) Expanding Subsonic bullet from Maker Bullets. The 375 WSM is going to be a great choice for many. Ballistics are below. Videos soon to come. Email us to get your build started.
